JOB SUMMARY

This position will perform prospecting, lead , and building lasting client relationships in the fast-moving world of telecom and IT infrastructure. This is an ideal role for a results driven sales professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience in lead and business development with a background or interest in IT, networking, or engineering. This position will provide outreach to new customers—crafting compelling messages, building outreach lists, managing email and LinkedIn campaigns, and supporting the sales pipeline. THIS POSITION HAS A BASE SALARY PLUS COMMISSION.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Research and identify potential clients in the telecom, cable, OEM, hyperscale, data center, and colocation sectors as well as other verticals
  • Generate leads via outbound email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, cold calling, and marketing automation tools
  • Work with leadership to tailor messaging for targeted verticals (e.g., telco vs. crypto miners)
  • Qualify inbound and outbound prospects and schedule discovery calls or demos
  • Maintain CRM records, campaign metrics, and follow-up tasks
  • Assist in preparing proposals, capability statements, and marketing decks
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitor activity
  • Support trade show planning, webinars, and targeted marketing initiatives
    • Special projects and other duties as assigned
  • QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Telecommunications, Business, Marketing, or a related field
    • Minimum three (3) years’ sales experience with a background or interest in IT, networking, or engineering.
    • Interest in infrastructure, networking, or data center environments
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Self-motivated with a high level of energy and curiosity
    • Willing to make cold calls, write personalized emails, and learn sales techniques
    • Comfortable using CRM platforms (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce), LinkedIn, and Excel
    • Work experience in sales support in a telecommunications/networking environment is a plus but not required
    • Bonus: Familiarity with telecom/networking terms (fiber, RMA, 5G, colocation, etc.)
