Sales Director

£100,000 – £150,000 + Bonus + Executive Package

UK (Home-Based with International Travel)

Are you a strategic sales leader with a proven track record in manufacturing and a passion for driving growth on a global scale? This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-evolving, investment-backed business at an exciting stage of its journey.

The Company

Our client is a leading manufacturer of precision process components serving critical industries worldwide. Following a recent acquisition and major investment, the company is entering a significant growth phase, with the ambition to double in size over the next five years.

Headquartered in the UK and supported by international manufacturing sites, this multi-million-turnover organisation supplies engineered flow control solutions to customers across the UK, USA, Middle East, and APAC. Their products are integral to operations in sectors such as Medical, Food & Beverage, Utilities, Defence, Oil & Gas, Data Centres, and general industry.

The Role

As Sales Director, you will have full accountability for defining and delivering the commercial growth strategy across the UK and international markets, with a clear mandate to increase market share, profitability and brand presence in critical process industries. You will lead from the front – shaping strategy, spending time in front of key customers, and ensuring the sales organisation is equipped to win complex, high-value projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Developing and executing a multi-year sales strategy to support the company’s ambition to double in size, covering OEM, EPC, end-user and distribution channels across the UK, USA, Middle East and APAC.

* Leading, coaching and structuring a high-performing sales team (field, internal and channel partners), setting clear objectives, KPIs and performance standards to consistently achieve order intake and revenue targets.

* Owning the full sales management process – pipeline , forecasting, pricing and margin management – and providing accurate, data-driven reporting to the board and investors.

* Building and deepening strategic relationships with key accounts in Medical, Food & Beverage, Defence, Oil & Gas, Data Centres and general industry, ensuring the business is specified early and remains supplier status.

* Identifying and developing new business opportunities, including entering adjacent segments, new geographies and strategic partnerships that complement the existing valves, pumps, actuators and flow-control portfolio.

* Working closely with engineering, operations and product management to align customer requirements with manufacturing capabilities, influence product roadmaps and ensure on-time, in-full project delivery.

* Driving a customer-centric culture, ensuring best-in-class responsiveness, technical support and aftersales service that underpin long-term customer loyalty and recurring revenue.

* Representing the business at industry events, trade shows and conferences, acting as a visible ambassador for the brand and staying close to market trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies in flow control.

The Person

* Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role within manufacturing.

* Strong technical appreciation of valves, pumps, actuators, or other flow control products.

* Commercially astute with a track record of driving international sales growth.

* Confident communicator with the gravitas to inspire teams and engage at board level.

* Strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced, change-oriented environments.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven sales leader ready to make a defining impact in a company poised for substantial expansion.
