Sales Director – Subcontracting Fit Out

We are proud to be partnering with a leading global contractor specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of commercial raised access flooring and data centre infrastructure, with an impressive annual turnover exceeding £420M.

Together, we are seeking an exceptional Sales Director to drive growth and shape the future of the business.

This is a an opportunity for you to step into a role arising from a planned retirement, reflecting the company’s strong culture of long-term career development and exceptionally low staff turnover.

You will take the lead in managing and growing key accounts across the UK Southern region, driving pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and hands-on client support.

This is a high-impact role where you will become the trusted advisor to end users, architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders, providing expert sales and technical guidance to secure major project wins.

You won’t just be selling, you’ll be shaping project outcomes, building lasting relationships, and playing a central role in the business’s growth strategy. If you thrive on high-stakes, client-facing work and enjoy turning technical expertise into tangible results, this role is for you.

About the Role:

* remit, with around 80% of work concentrated in London, predominantly within the commercial office sector.

* Flexible working options available, with the expectation of weekly travel to London.

* The business works with top-tier contractors on CAT A projects, with a focus on maintaining and expanding key client relationships.

* Long-term strategy includes growth into the CAT B fit-out market.

* The Sales Director will report directly to the Managing Director and General Manager and collaborate closely with an established sales and estimating team.

We are looking for someone who:

* Comes from a subcontracting background with strong technical construction knowledge.

* Is commercially astute, people-focused, and capable of driving strategic growth.

* Can nurture existing client relationships while identifying and developing new opportunities.

Package:

* Salary: £100K+

* Bonus: 12.5%

* Company car

* 25 days holiday

* Pension: 4% employee / 5% employer (with 4x death in service)
