Sales Manager UK & I
Location: London / South East (Hybrid)

A leading transformer manufacturer is seeking a Sales Manager to drive growth across the UK&I data centre market. This role is focused on developing and managing relationships with data centre operators, developers, consultants, EPCs, and contractors across hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise projects.
You will play a key role in expanding market share, identifying new opportunities, and positioning the business as a transformer partner within critical infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales and business development strategy for the UK data centre sector
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new project opportunities from early design through to contract award
- Build strong relationships with data centre operators, developers, consultants, EPCs, and electrical contractors
- Manage key accounts and strategic customers, ensuring long-term partnership and repeat business
- Work closely with internal engineering, tendering, and project teams to deliver competitive technical and commercial solutions
- Provide market intelligence on competitors, pricing, project pipelines, and emerging trends
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities
- Achieve agreed revenue, margin, and growth targets
What Experience do you need?
- Proven experience in sales or business development within the transformer, power distribution, or electrical infrastructure market
- Experience supplying into the data centre industry (hyperscale, colocation, or mission-critical environments)
- Strong understanding of power infrastructure including MV/LV systems, transformers, substations, and grid connections
- Established network across data centre operators, consultants, contractors, or EPCs is highly desirable
- Commercially astute with the ability to manage complex, long sales cycles
- Comfortable engaging at both technical and senior decision-maker level
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work autonomously
