LV SAP (Low Voltage Senior Authorised Person) – Data Centre Project

Location: Slough

Contract Role

We are currently seeking an experienced LV SAP to support a major data centre project in Slough on a contract basis.

Role Overview:

The LV SAP will be responsible for the safe management, control, and execution of low-voltage electrical operations on a live data centre environment, ensuring full compliance with safety rules and project procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the appointed LV Senior Authorised Person for the project
  • Control and issue electrical permits, isolations, and switching schedules
  • Ensure compliance with site safety rules, RAMS, and data centre standards
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors
  • Oversee LV electrical works in a live/critical environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an LV SAP (data centre experience )
  • Strong knowledge of LV systems, isolations, and permit-to-work processes
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • ECS / CSCS card
  • Ability to work in a high-risk, mission-critical environment
  • Excellent communication and safety leadership skills
