Job Description

A leading global construction consultancy is seeking a Project Scheduler to support the delivery of a live, large-scale data center project.

This is a site-based position suited to a scheduler with practical construction experience who can actively develop, manage, and analyze detailed project schedules. The successful candidate will work closely with the client, general contractor, trade partners, and project management team to provide accurate schedule reporting and identify potential impacts before they affect project delivery.

Candidate must be willing to be onsite Mon- Fri.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6.

\n

• Build schedules from the ground up, including the work breakdown structure, activity logic, durations, calendars, constraints, and key milestones.

\n

• Integrate design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover activities into the master schedule.

\n

• Collect progress information from contractors, trade partners, and project stakeholders.

\n

• Review contractor schedule updates for accuracy, realistic logic, and compliance with project requirements.

\n

• Conduct critical-path, near-critical-path, float, and schedule-variance analyses.

\n

• Identify delays, sequencing conflicts, procurement risks, and potential impacts to project milestones.

\n

• Support recovery planning, resequencing, and schedule-mitigation efforts.

\n

• Facilitate or participate in weekly schedule and progress meetings.

\n

• Prepare weekly and monthly schedule reports, progress narratives, milestone trackers, dashboards, and look-ahead schedules.

\n

• Evaluate proposed changes and assess their potential impact on the project completion date.

\n

• Support time-impact analyses, delay reviews, and change-control processes.

\n

• Coordinate closely with onsite construction, project controls, cost management, and commissioning teams.

\n

• Maintain accurate schedule records and a clear audit trail of revisions, assumptions, and progress updates.

\n

Candidate Requirements

\n

\n
• Approximately 4–8 years of construction scheduling, planning, project controls, or related project-delivery experience.

\n

• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6.

\n

• Demonstrated experience creating detailed construction schedules, not solely maintaining or updating schedules prepared by others.

\n

• Experience supporting large, complex construction projects such as data centers, advanced manufacturing facilities, pharmaceutical facilities, hospitals, industrial projects, or major commercial developments.

\n

• Good understanding of construction sequencing, procurement, long-lead equipment, MEP systems, testing, commissioning, and project turnover.

\n

• Ability to evaluate schedule logic, critical paths, float, constraints, and progress accuracy.

\n

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

\n

• Ability to work directly with clients, contractors, consultants, and trade partners.

\n

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, live-project environment.

\n

• Able to work onsite five days per week.

\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Previous data center construction experience.

\n

• Experience scheduling MEP-intensive projects.

\n

• Familiarity with data center commissioning and turnover activities.

\n

• Experience working for a construction consultancy, general contractor, owner, or program management firm.

\n

• Knowledge of schedule risk, delay analysis, earned-value concepts, and cost-loaded or resource-loaded schedules.

\n

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
