Job Description

As a Security Guard - Neighborhood Patrol in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-tech data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet staff and visitors, communicate clearly, document observations, and escalate concerns through proper channels. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct access control duties including verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or badging, and directing deliveries to designated areas per site requirements.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other building systems as assigned, and report irregular activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing notifications and basic incident documentation as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including entrances, loading areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of for unarmed roles; 21+ years of for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
