Security Service Specialist
Great opportunity to join a fast-growing tech team with a leading independent systems integrator.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle service, testing, programming, repair, and installation of low-voltage systems such as access, video, life safety, and automation—with some guidance as needed. Act as the primary technical contact for end users and help ensure satisfaction.
- Read and follow basic drawings and manuals to perform installations. Use standard meters, hand tools, and knowledge of electronics to troubleshoot and repair. Operate and commission systems, write simple programs, and support live environments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and contribute to customer success. Support multiple technical tasks across projects—programming, documentation, training, testing, and long-term support.
- Monitor risks, communicate issues, and help manage costs and timelines. Coordinate closely with project and field teams. Identify process improvements and opportunities to increase customer satisfaction.
This is a full-time, direct hire role, fully onsite, covering local client sites in the greater metro Omaha area. Minimal travel. Limited on-call, typically less than once monthly. Includes vehicle, tools, PPE, uniform, phone, and laptop. Strong internal team with room to grow!
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 2+ years in security tech (Access, Video, Intrusion, etc.)
- Hands-on with relevant platforms (Software platforms & VMS)
- Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude
- Great communicator with strong service mindset
- Comfortable with office software
- Valid driver's license
