Semi Skilled Electrical Fitter – LV Switchgear & Power Distribution\n\nNottinghamshire | Permanent | Manufacturing & Installation\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nOur client is a leading manufacturer of Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear and Power Distribution Units, supplying projects across commercial, healthcare, data centre and industrial sectors.\n\nBased in Nottinghamshire, they are now looking to recruit several Semi Skilled Electrical Fitters to join their busy production and installation teams, working primarily within a modern manufacturing environment with occasional site-based installation work.\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nWe are looking to recruit a Semi-Skilled Electrical Fitter to join our Production team. Ideally, with a foundation in electrical work, we require people who are looking to develop their skills within a manufacturing environment, with the opportunity to progress to full Electrical Fitter status.\n\nYou will learn to be part of a team tasked with:\n\n * Assembling, wiring, testing and installing a wide range of electrical products\n\n * Building Power Distribution Units and LV Switchgear from schematic and wiring diagrams\n\n * Supporting installation teams on site when required\n\n * Working closely with Team Leaders, Production Managers and Engineering staff to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to company standards\n\n * Maintaining high levels of quality, housekeeping and health & safety compliance\n\nYou Will Have\n\n * Level 2 Electrical qualification or equivalent\n\n * Basic understanding of electrical wiring and assembly\n\n * Previous experience in a electrical manufacturing environment will be useful\n\n * Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety\n\n * A positive attitude and willingness to learn\n\nIn Return\n\nYou will be joining a progressive, family-owned business that genuinely invests in its people and long-term development, offering:\n\n * Permanent hourly rate of £16.62 per hour\n\n * Overtime available\n\n * Typical annual earnings with overtime exceed £35,000\n\n * 4.5-day working week\n\n * Progressive pay structure\n\n * Excellent career progression and further training opportunities\n\n * Employee Assistance Programme\n\n * BUPA private medical care and 24/7 GP access\n\n * 24 days holiday plus bank holidays\n\n * Death-in-service benefit\n\n * Company sick pay\n\n * Company pension scheme\n\nSummary\n\nAn excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking, family-owned manufacturing business with a strong pipeline of work, modern facilities and a genuine commitment to developing people into skilled engineers
