We are seeking a highly organized and bilingual Construction Project Administrator / Korean-English Translator to support the successful execution of a major semiconductor construction project. This position will work onsite and serve as a key administrative and communication link between the project management team, construction contractors, Korean-speaking personnel, engineers, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in Korean and English, possess strong administrative and organizational skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment. Construction, semiconductor, manufacturing, engineering, or industrial project experience is strongly .
Success in this position requires more than simply translating conversations. The successful candidate will understand the importance of accurate communication, timely project administration, cultural awareness, and construction-site coordination. This individual will help ensure that information moves efficiently between Korean-speaking and English-speaking members of the project team while keeping project documentation and administrative activities organized and current.
Roles and Responsibilities
Project Administration
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and project team.
• Maintain project documentation, correspondence, meeting minutes, logs, reports, and other project records.
• Assist with document control, including tracking drawings, submittals, RFIs, change orders, schedules, and other project documentation.
• Prepare and maintain project trackers, spreadsheets, contact lists, and status reports.
• Coordinate meetings, site meetings, conference calls, and project events.
• Prepare meeting agendas, take detailed meeting minutes, and distribute action items.
• Track action items and follow up with responsible parties to ensure timely completion.
• Assist with project schedules, manpower reports, daily reports, and progress tracking.
• Support onboarding and administrative coordination for contractors, vendors, and project personnel.
• Assist with purchase orders, invoices, timesheets, expense reports, and other administrative processes as required.

Korean-English Translation & Interpretation
• Provide professional Korean-English and English-Korean interpretation during onsite meetings, construction discussions, coordination meetings, and daily interactions.
• Translate project-related emails, reports, procedures, presentations, technical documents, meeting minutes, and other written materials.
• Facilitate communication between Korean-speaking project personnel and English-speaking management, contractors, engineers, and vendors.
• Interpret technical and construction terminology accurately and in the appropriate context.
• Assist Korean-speaking personnel with understanding project procedures, site requirements, safety expectations, schedules, and administrative processes.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive project, personnel, contractual, or business information.
Position Requirements
Required Qualifications
• Fluency in Korean and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to translate and interpret accurately in a professional construction environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural, and highly collaborative environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Willingness to work onsite at a semiconductor construction project.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in construction administration, project coordination, engineering administration, or a related field.
• Experience working on semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, industrial, data center, pharmaceutical, or other highly technical construction projects.
• Previous experience supporting Korean-owned or Korean-led construction, engineering, manufacturing, or technology organizations.
• Familiarity with construction terminology, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and project documentation.
• Experience with construction management or document-control software such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar platforms.
• Experience providing technical or business interpretation in a construction or engineering environment.
