The Role

Reporting to the Corporate Controller and based in our Chandler, Arizona headquarters, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial reporting. This includes maintaining compliance with U.S. GAAP, supporting SEC reporting. The successful candidate will support the month-end close, equity administration and audit processes. This role also offers the opportunity to drive process improvements through automation and technology.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with month-end account reconciliations across various balance sheet accounts—including cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, intangible assets, equity, and other assets—and maintain related schedules such as ASC 842 lease accounting workbooks and journal entries.
  • Stock administration through eTrade, including RSU releases, option exercises, and monthly equity tasks.
  • Execute financial transactions and journal entries in SAP, including depreciation, amortization, accruals, reclassifications, and cash sweep activity.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of SEC filings, including but not limited to hands on maintenance and execution of relevant schedules, spreadsheets, and financial statements.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives by leveraging automation and AI tools.
  • Maintain, update, and evaluate new accounting policies.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including SBC expense estimates, depreciation schedules, and cash balances.
  • Support internal and external audit requests, including walkthroughs, selections, and PBCs.
  • Maintain FloQast checklist items and ensure timely completion of reconciliations and close tasks.
  • Provide backup support for AP, AR, and payroll functions as needed.

Qualifications & competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 4-7 years of overall accounting experience
  • Public accounting experience and/or similar experience with a public company
  • Experience with accounting and ERP systems; SAP experience .
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
  • Understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting principles, including SOX requirements.
  • Detailed-oriented, organized approach to performing and reviewing work
  • Ability to deal effectively with all levels of an organization and manage relationships with external parties including auditors.

  • Semiconductor or other high-tech manufacturing industry experience but not required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) but not required.
