Join a dynamic, growing IT services company at the forefront of the data center boom. As part of a newly assembled finance team, you'll have the opportunity to establish processes, work with modern systems, and contribute to building something special from the ground up.

This is currently a remote opportunity; however, only candidates in the Atlanta area will be considered as this may eventually be a hybrid position with 1-2 days in office.

The Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to handle core accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and audit support. You'll work closely with the Assistant Controller in a collaborative environment where your technical skills and reliability matter more than pedigree. This role offers the stability of senior-level work without the pressure of constant advancement expectations.

What You'll Do

• Prepare journal entries for payroll, bonuses, commissions, and other recurring transactions
• Manage month-end close activities including accruals and standard accounting entries
• Reconcile cash accounts and maintain fixed asset records
• Support annual audit processes with schedules and documentation
• Work in NetSuite to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Collaborate with team members across finance and operations
• Apply accounting principles consistently across a growing, project-based business
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong technical accounting foundation in debits/credits, accruals, and reconciliations
• NetSuite experience strongly (other ERP systems considered)
• Public accounting experience at a regional or firm is a plus
• CPA but not required
• Audit support experience 
• Steady, reliable professional who takes pride in accuracy and completeness
• Construction or project-based industry experience beneficial but not mandatory
• Located in the Atlanta area
