Advertising Billing Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Billing Ops Specialist who is passionate about actively contributing to our continued customer satisfaction through executing billing tasks with highest standards and serving as the 'go-to' expert on billing questions for internal teams. This role will focus on different types of billing assignments to fulfill ad-hoc billing needs, while actively contributing to long-term tech and workflow improvements.

Key job responsibilities
· Develop expertise in the business and operational area
· Process allocated work to meet and exceed productivity targets such as total time to resolve, service level agreements, and average handling time.
· Maintain the highest standards when providing billing support to internal customers, ultimately benefitting advertisers
· Process invoice issue requests
· Submit/approve credit and rebill requests
· Review and resolve accrued but not billed cases
· Review and approve billing exception requests
· Identify and drive improvement opportunities across billing tech and workflows

A day in the life
Billing Ops Specialists serve as subject matter experts on ads billing and are trusted partners to a wide range of teams. In this role, you will work on different assignment types, owning your assignments end-to-end. You will work closely with your internal customers (account teams) across ads regions, and to complete complex assignments, you will work closely with partner teams across product, finance and accounting organizations. You will have the opportunity to uncover and contribute to valuable improvement opportunities by looking around corners and challenging the status quo. You will regularly meet with your team and leadership to learn about and discuss business changes and larger billing projects.

About the team
The billing team’s vision is to create a frictionless billing experience for advertisers, marking the final step of the end-to-end campaign lifecycle. The Billing Ops Specialist role drives toward this vision by providing world class support to account teams globally. Daily activities of the Billing Ops Specialist include processing invoice issue requests such as credit and rebill submissions, internal investigations on billing discrepancies, answering general billing inquiries from account teams, and approving billing exception requests for advertisers to meet pre-pay or scheduled billing needs. The specialist should consistently deliver results from both a speed (SLA) and quality perspective, help uncover product improvement opportunities and show a willingness to share best practices and knowledge across the broader team.
