Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer\n\nLocation: London\n\nJob Type: Permanent\n\nStart Date: ASAP\n\nSalary: £45,000 - £50,000\n\nOverview\n\nAn urgent requirement has arisen for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a London-based civil engineering team.\n\nThis role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio, including data centres, housing developments, high-rise schemes, residential projects, and substations. The position combines strong technical delivery with elements of client engagement and business development support.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead the delivery of drainage and infrastructure design packages\nPrepare and review detailed drainage strategies and calculations\nProduce technical reports and supporting documentation\nUse Causeway Flow and Civil 3D for design and modelling\nCoordinate with multidisciplinary design teams\nAttend client meetings and provide technical input\nSupport work-winning activities where required\nMentor and guide junior engineers \n\nProject Sectors\n\nData Centres\nHousing Developments\nHigh-Rise Residential\nResidential Schemes\nSubstation Projects \n\nTechnical Requirements\n\nStrong drainage design experience\nProficiency in Causeway Flow\nExperience using Civil 3D\nGood understanding of UK standards and development infrastructure\nExperience delivering complex urban or large-scale schemes \n\nCandidate Profile\n\nExperience operating at the Senior Civil Engineer level\nStrong technical capability and project ownership\nAbility to contribute to client relationships and business development (prior BD experience not essential)\nExcellent communication and organisational skills\nAble to start at short notice \n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer seeking a technically engaging role with exposure to major London-based developments and long-term career progression
