Job Description:
Novaline is seeking a Construction Manager with a strong background in industrial engineering and construction to join our dynamic team. This role requires a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is flexible to travel across the U.S. for projects, and demonstrates exceptional leadership in managing industrial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the successful execution of industrial construction projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate site activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and Novaline personnel.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and client requirements.
- Lead project meetings with clients, engineers, and subcontractors, maintaining effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide constructability reviews during the design phase and support preconstruction planning.
- Coordinate the commissioning, start-up, and closeout process, including punch list management and turnover packages.
- Resolve field conflicts and challenges proactively, ensuring minimal disruption to project progress.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager in industrial construction projects, such as chemical plants, manufacturing facilities, or refineries.
- Background in industrial engineering or related construction disciplines.
- Ability to travel frequently and work on-site at various project locations across the U.S.
- Strong understanding of construction schedules, budgets, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar platforms is a plus.
