Hunton Trane, a division of the Hunton Group, is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale data center construction projects. This role serves as the primary interface between Hunton Trane (EPC contractor), the client/owner, and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment across technical, contractual, and schedule interfaces to support seamless project delivery.
The Senior Construction Project Manager is responsible for leading interface management activities, including the development of Interface Management Plans, maintaining interface registers, and facilitating coordination meetings to proactively resolve conflicts across disciplines. This position provides on-site leadership, risk mitigation, and decision-making on behalf of Hunton Trane, while coordinating closely with engineering, procurement, project controls, and site construction teams to deliver high-quality, on-time results.

Job Summary:
- This position will be dedicated to managing the construction of our data center projects
- Ensures smooth communication and coordination between Hunton Trane (the EPC contractor), the client (owner), and other stakeholders, managing technical, contractual, and schedule links to prevent conflicts, resolve issues, and guarantee seamless project delivery, often through formal plans, registers, and workshops.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a central point for communication with clients, internal teams, external partners, and government bodies.
- Develop Interface Management Plans (IMPs): Define boundaries, responsibilities, and procedures for managing interfaces.
- Manage Interface Registers: Track all inter-discipline, contractor, and owner/third-party interfaces, ensuring action closure.
- Lead Coordination: Lead meetings and reviews to resolve conflicts, align disciplines, and reviews to resolve conflicts and confirm delivery dates.
- Facilitate Communication: Lead review meetings and coordination sessions to resolve clashes and overlaps.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential scope conflicts, schedule delays, and interface claims early on.
- Decision Making: Make decisions on the Hunton Trane's behalf within agreed parameters.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in large scale construction project management for either a Mechanical Contractor or General Contractor in data center related work. Experience working with Industrial facilities and clients is a plus.
- Must be willing to travel to Childress, TX. 50-75% travel required. Optional housing provided by Hunton is available.
- Must have extensive experience in Client Interface Management. This role will be communicating with the client daily.
- Must have extensive experience working as part of a large team, with communication across the following disciplines: Procurement and Project Controls, Project Management, Site Construction Management, and Engineering (multi-disciplinary including but not limited to structural, mechanical, electrical, and controls).

- Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:
- DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 5 years
