Senior Construction Project Manager - Construction - Base Salary to 180k/year - San Antonio, TX
- Our client is a nationally recognized commercial and industrial general contractor delivering large-scale, complex construction projects across multiple sectors. They are seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead major projects from preconstruction through completion, with a strong focus on safety, cost control, and schedule execution.
- This role is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction, managing internal and field teams, coordinating with subcontractors and stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery on high-value builds.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout
- Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and profitability across large-scale builds
- Develop, maintain, and enforce detailed project schedules and timelines
- Oversee subcontractor coordination to ensure alignment with scope, quality, and schedule
- Review and manage shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals
- Prepare and deliver monthly cost reports and owner billings
- Serve as primary point of contact for owners, architects, inspectors, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company procedures
- Lead safety initiatives, conduct jobsite safety meetings, and enforce safe work practices
- Monitor project performance and proactively identify and resolve risks or delays
- Coordinate permitting, inspections, and regulatory requirements with local authorities
- Oversee quality control processes across all phases of construction
- Lead and mentor project teams, including field staff and support personnel
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of construction project management experience
- Experience managing medium to large-scale construction projects ($100M+)
- Data center construction project experience is required
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control, and project execution
- Proficiency with Primavera (P6 ), Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word
- Demonstrated experience implementing and managing complex safety programs
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams
- Experience managing project financials, including cost reporting, cash flow, and forecasting
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, terms, and project delivery methods
- Knowledge of insurance programs (OCIP, CCIP, SDI, Builder's Risk policies)
- Ability to manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with scope and specifications

- Base salary in the 150k - 180k/year range
