Senior Controls/BMS Manager - EMEA \n\nWe are currently supporting a leading global organisation within the mission-critical data centre sector in the search for a Senior Controls/BMS Manager Control to join their global function.\n\nThis is a senior-level appointment responsible for driving commissioning excellence across complex, large-scale infrastructure projects on a global basis.\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nThis role will suit a highly experienced professional with deep technical expertise in control systems (BMS / BAS / EPMS / PLC) and a strong track record of delivering high-performance outcomes in data centre or similarly complex environments.\n\nYou will act as a global technical authority for controls commissioning, ensuring consistency, standardisation, and predictable delivery across a multi-regional project portfolio.\n\nWorking within a matrix organisation, you will collaborate closely with engineering, delivery, QA/QC, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure operational readiness of mission-critical facilities at handover.\n\nBenefits \n\n€140,000 - €160,000 Yearly Salary \nLucrative Yearly Bonus \nPer Diem/Travel Allowance \nPrivate Healthcare \nPension \nGlobal Position \n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead and support global controls commissioning activities across multiple live projects\nDevelop and implement standardised commissioning strategies from planning through to handover (L0-L6)\nAct as subject matter expert for BMS / BAS / EPMS / PLC / SCADA systems\nEnsure alignment of design intent with operational performance requirements\nOversee systems integration across mechanical and electrical plant and equipment\nDrive commissioning planning, scheduling, sequencing, and tag management\nLead technical validation workshops and system completion planning sessions\nEnsure strict adherence to safety systems including PTW, SSOW, and LOTO\nManage OFCI / CFCI vendor and contractor interfaces across complex delivery environments\nDevelop and review commissioning documentation, test scripts, and procedures\nOversee loop checks, point-to-point testing, functional testing, and system start-up\nManage punch lists, defect resolution, and structured close-out processes\nSupport QA/QC teams to ensure quality-led commissioning delivery and minimal rework\nDrive data-led decision making using completion and commissioning tracking systems\nIdentify and mitigate risks across commissioning execution and system handover\nProvide leadership to commissioning teams and underperforming stakeholders where requiredDesired Experience \n\nDegree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Control Systems, Mechatronics or similar) \n10+ years' experience in commissioning and/or controls engineering in complex infrastructure environments\nStrong background in data centres or mission-critical facilities highly desirable\nExperience across industrial sectors such as oil & gas, power, pharma, or large-scale infrastructure advantageous\nProven experience leading commissioning teams in a matrix or multi-stakeholder environment\nStrong understanding of project delivery from planning through commissioning and handover\nProject management experience or certification (or equivalent practical experience)INDGLO
