They are seeking an experienced Senior CSA Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial delivery team on a landmark £10bn hyperscale data centre campus in Blyth, North East England. This flagship development, one of the largest data centre campuses in Europe, will be delivered over the next decade and represents one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the commercial management of Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) packages, ensuring effective cost control, contract compliance and successful commercial delivery throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with Commercial Managers, Project Directors, Construction Managers, engineering teams, subcontractors and client representatives, you will manage procurement, valuations, variations, cost reporting and subcontractor accounts across major CSA workstreams within a complex, fast-paced construction environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the commercial delivery of CSA packages across the full project lifecyclePrepare and review valuations, payment applications and variation accountsManage subcontractor accounts, procurement activities and contractual obligationsMonitor project costs, budgets, forecasts and commercial reportingSupport procurement and negotiation of major CSA subcontract packagesIdentify, assess and manage commercial risks, opportunities and changeEnsure compliance with contract requirements and commercial proceduresWork closely with construction and engineering teams to align scope, cost and programmeManage change control, compensation events, claims and commercial negotiationsLiaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors on commercial mattersProduce monthly cost reports, forecasts and financial reviewsSupport project close-out, final accounts and handover activitiesMentor junior commercial team members and contribute to continuous improvementRequirementsProven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong CSA exposurePrevious experience working for a main contractor delivering large-scale data centres, mission-critical, industrial or complex commercial projectsStrong technical understanding of civil, structural and architectural construction packagesExperience managing large subcontract packages and complex commercial interfacesGood knowledge of construction contracts, valuations, procurement and cost controlStrong negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skillsDegree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related disciplineExperience working within large multidisciplinary project environmentsStrong understanding of project controls, reporting and commercial governancePackageHighly competitive salary + comprehensive packageRotation / Accommodation / Living allowance / Travel allowanceBonus / Car allowance / Private healthcare / Enhanced pension / Life assuranceLong-term opportunity on one of Europe's largest hyperscale data centre developmentsThis is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's most significant construction programmes and play a key commercial role in delivering a landmark £10bn, 10-year hyperscale data centre campus .
