Gryphon Oakwood is partnering with a leading electrical contractor to appoint a senior executive to lead a growing Mission Critical division. This leadership position will oversee complex electrical construction projects across mission critical sectors. This is an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished construction leader with extensive experience delivering and managing large-scale electrical operations within the mission critical market.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership for a major mission critical electrical construction division, ensuring operational excellence, project delivery, and overall business performance.
- Lead the financial and operational success of the division through effective forecasting, budgeting, resource planning, and commercial oversight.
- Develop and mentor multidisciplinary teams across operations, project delivery, preconstruction, estimating, engineering coordination, and field leadership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and internal stakeholders to support long-term growth and successful project execution.
- Work closely with preconstruction and operational teams to develop delivery strategies, support project pursuits, allocate resources, and drive continuous improvement across the business.
- Champion a culture focused on safety, quality, collaboration, and operational excellence.

Requirements
\n

- Significant leadership experience within the electrical construction industry.
- Demonstrated success delivering mission critical, data center, hyperscale, or other complex electrical construction projects.
- Strong commercial and operational leadership experience with responsibility for large project portfolios or business units.
- Proven ability to develop business strategies, improve operational performance, and deliver sustainable growth.
- Experience leading and mentoring large, cross-functional teams while fostering a high-performance culture.
- Strong understanding of preconstruction, estimating, project planning, engineering coordination (BIM/VDC), contract administration, and modern construction practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence clients, partners, and executive stakeholders.
