Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Data Centre Project – Central London\n\nLocation:         London Bridge (Hybrid working available)\n\nContract:         6 Months (Immediate Start )\n\nRate:                £48 per hour (Ltd / Outside IR35 subject to assessment)\n\nA leading international building services consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their specialist data centre design team on a 6-month freelance contract.\n\nBased out of modern offices in London Bridge, you will be working on a major hyperscale data centre development across RIBA Stages 3–5.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead electrical design packages including LV distribution, lighting, power, containment and resilience systems\n\t\nCoordination with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, sustainability and BIM\n\t\nAttend design team meetings and manage client interface\n\t\nEnsure compliance with relevant standards, codes and project specifications\n\t\nReview and sign-off drawings, calculations and technical submissions\n\nRequirements\n\nMinimum 7+ years’ experience in electrical building services design\n\t\nStrong data centre project background essential (Tier III / Tier IV)\n\t\nProficient in industry software such as Amtech, Dialux/Relux, Revit (desirable)\n\t\nSolid understanding of power infrastructure, redundancy and critical systems\n\t\nExcellent communication and leadership skills\n\nFor more information regarding the above role, please contact Stephen Tiigah – (url removed)
