Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services

Reading (Hybrid)

An established and growing building services consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their experienced team in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects across sectors including commercial, residential, data centres, industrial, and leisure.

The Role

Deliver electrical design from concept through to completion

Produce calculations, drawings, and specifications

Use AutoCAD and Revit to develop detailed designs

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects and contractors

Attend client and project meetings

Ensure designs meet regulatory and sustainability requirements

About You

Degree/HNC/HND in Building Services or Electrical Engineering

Strong experience within a consultancy environment

Experience delivering projects across multiple RIBA stages

Knowledge of lighting and electrical distribution design

Familiar with AutoCAD (Revit desirable)

Working towards Chartership ()
