Senior Electrical Engineer – Data Center Infrastructure

Location: Miami, FL

We are currently supporting a rapidly growing developer and operator of next- digital infrastructure seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) team in Miami, FL.

This individual will play a key role in the design and development of electrical power systems supporting large-scale data center environments, including AI, cloud, colocation, and other high-performance computing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems and backup power solutions

• Perform load calculations, power distribution analysis, and power availability modeling

• Develop electrical schematics, CAD drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)

• Ensure compliance with NEC, local building codes, and industry standards

• Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, efficiency, and scalability

• Support project teams through design, integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities

• Partner with procurement teams to ensure accurate equipment specifications and alignment with project objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience focused on power distribution systems

• Experience supporting data centers, mission critical facilities, industrial infrastructure, power , or similar complex environments

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, or related design software

• Strong understanding of electrical codes, load calculations, and power distribution modeling

• Experience leading projects from conceptual design through implementation

• PE license
