Job Description
My Client, a market leading Building Services and Sustainability Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Central London. \n\nThis innovative consultancy specialise in electrical and building services designs for varied commercial, retail, financial, data centres and industrial development projects. \n\nYou will join a supportive and friendly team based in London.
\n\nAs a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll play a key role in bringing diverse projects to life, from concept through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:\n\nDelivering high-quality electrical designs across a wide range of sectors.\nEngaging in all stages of the project lifecycle and liaise with multidisciplinary teams. \nProducing technical drawings and calculations for electrical systems and lighting using Dialux, Relux, Amtech and AutoCAD.
\nContributing to sustainable design solutions and low-carbon strategies. \nSupporting site installations and ensuring design compliance.\nRepresenting the company at project meetings and client interactions suggesting innovative and sustainable solutions for developments. Sites are usually based across South London and Surrey.
Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering and experience working for UK based Consultancy completing electrical designs using Dialux, Relux and/or Amtech.\n\nExperience designing for commercial or retail projects would also be beneficial. \n\nYou will also be required to have a working knowledge of British/European standards and Building Regulations and BREEAM. \n\nWhilst this opportunity offers flexible working, you will be required to work from the office in Central London three days a week.
