Senior Electrical Engineer – City of London (Hybrid)\n\nBonus Scheme | Up to 20 Days Working Abroad | Exciting Multi-Sector Projects Including Data Centres\n\nWe are seeking an ambitious Senior Electrical Engineer to join a leading Building Services consultancy based in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, from commercial and residential developments to cutting-edge data centres across the UK and internationally.\n\nThis role offers fantastic flexibility with a hybrid working model (1–2 days in the office per week) and the opportunity to work up to 20 days abroad annually on high-profile international projects.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering electrical systems for complex building projects. You’ll liaise directly with clients, manage project deliverables, and mentor junior engineers, ensuring innovative and sustainable solutions are provided.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead the design and specification of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and security systems.\n\nOversee project delivery from concept through to completion.\n\nCoordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure integrated design solutions.\n\nProvide technical leadership and mentor junior team members.\n\nEngage directly with clients, attending meetings and providing expert advice.\n\nSupport the integration of energy-efficient and sustainable design solutions.\n\nAbout You\n\nDegree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).\n\nStrong background in building services consultancy or design engineering.\n\nProficient in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Amtech, and Dialux/Relux.\n\nExcellent understanding of UK building regulations and industry standards.\n\nConfident communicator with client-facing experience.\n\nPrevious exposure to data centre projects is advantageous but not essential.\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\nCompetitive salary + annual bonus.\n\nHybrid working – 1–2 days in the London office, rest from home.\n\nOpportunity to work up to 20 days abroad each year.\n\nExposure to a diverse range of projects including commercial, residential, and mission-critical data centres.\n\nProfessional development and career progression opportunities.\n\nCollaborative and forward-thinking team environment.\n\nLocation: City of London (Hybrid, 1–2 days in office)\n\n Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Benefits\n\n Travel: Up to 20 days abroad annually
