At Dornan we are currently recruiting for Senior Electrical Engineer to work on a Data Centre Project in West London.\n\nAs a Senior Electrical Engineer, your role will be to interface with the client's representatives and the supply chain on site. They would work effectively with the project manager and project teams to review and manage project from inception to handover. As a key member of the team, the senior electrical engineer will be an exemplar ambassador for the company.\n\nYour Team\n\nThe Senior Electrical Engineer will coordinate a project's technical design with the on-site installation through to successful commissioning ensuring that the Dornan process vision, mission, and values are fulfilled.\n\nYour day to day will include:\n\nEnsuring that the technical issues are resolved without delay.\n\nProcess internal procurement from equipment enquires though requisitioning and monitoring manufacture through to delivery to site whilst maintaining a comprehensive audit train\n\nAttend and record regular supply chain meetings to ensure that progress is monitored and maintained within the overall construction programme.\n\nPrepare risk assessments, method statements and all aspects relating to Health and Safety on site.\n\nLiaise with the design team and supply chain to ensure correct operation of the plant on site and successful handover.\n\nMonitor and record progress on site against the construction programme.\n\nEnsure that the Health and Safety, Environment and quality procedures are followed, and adequate records maintained.\n\nDevelop the project specific qualify plan.\n\nUndertake regular meetings with the supply chain to maintain progress and to ensure resources are matched to the construction programme.\n\nTo liaise with the project manager and prepare the project close out report.\n\nReview with the project manager the allocation of resources and to review progress.\n\nReview and ensure that the site-based personnel have the correct training and valid certificate for the project.\n\nAll other reasonable tasks assigned to you from time to time from your manager\n\nWhat we are looking for:\n\nYour Experience\n\nDetailed knowledge of the Engineering role\n\nCommercial understanding\n\nHealth, Safety and Environmental systems\n\nYour Qualifications\n\nEssential:\n\nDegree in Engineering\n\nPrevious experience working within construction
