About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical department in our Philadelphia office. This leadership role offers the opportunity to manage a variety of projects from concept through completion while contributing to the strategic growth of the firm.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you’ll lead project teams, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with firm leadership to deliver high-quality engineering solutions and drive business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead conceptual design efforts, including system criteria, equipment room sizing, and building stack development
- Guide project teams through construction documentation and project completion
- Manage review of shop drawings, RFIs, contractor change orders, and conduct site visits and punch lists
- Establish and manage project schedules, ensuring efficient resource use and timely task completion
- Prepare proposals and additional services; coordinate reviews and approvals with Partners
- Coach and mentor staff, provide performance feedback, and support professional development goals
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical Engineering
- 10–14 years of electrical engineering experience
- Proficient in design calculations and software tools such as Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Deep understanding of trade-specific scopes, codes, and coordination with other disciplines
- Knowledge of documentation requirements for all project phases (SD, DD, CD, specifications)

Estimated compensation range: $122,000-140,000 base salary per year
