The Senior Technology Project Manager will lead technology construction activities across multiple data center and power facilities. Youll be part of a small but growing team responsible for installing and commissioning all technology-related infrastructure and systems. This role offers the opportunity to shape future standards, processes, and best practices across upcoming projects.
This position is based in Abilene, Texas and relocation to Abilene is required.

What you will be Doing:
- Overseeing all technology infrastructure and communications activities at assigned power sites.
- Championing a safety-first culture in every aspect of your work.
- Identifying and resolving issues early, communicating updates and decisions to stakeholders as needed.
- Coordinating with general contractors and managing low-voltage, networking, and communications subcontractors.
- Building and maintaining strong vendor and contractor relationships.
- Ensuring all work meets design specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements.
- Preparing and delivering daily and weekly progress reports to keep stakeholders informed.
- Manage material and equipment logistics to ensure timely project delivery.
- Leading the preparation and submission of RFIs, RFQs, and vendor coordination activities.
- Partnering with engineering and operations teams to conduct end-to-end testing and validation.
- Troubleshooting field issues, collaborating with engineers, technicians, and contractors for quick resolution.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized job site.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven commitment to safety and quality on job sites.
- 5+ years in networking or telecommunications, plus 3+ years managing low-voltage infrastructure projects.
- Experience with power , utility, or heavy industrial projects is an asset.
- Strong understanding of network cabling, server rack buildouts, fiber optics, access control, cameras, and communication systems (ISP, LTE, satellite).
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical documents, and specifications and clearly communicate them to contractors and vendors.
- Excellent organizational, scheduling, and prioritization skills.
- Track record of identifying project challenges, proposing solutions, and driving timely resolutions.
- Experience working with Waterfall and Agile project management frameworks.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to be on-site daily.
- Ability to travel up to 50% as required.
