Overview:

Lead field expert responsible for the complete interior build-out of high-performance, controlled-environment spaces in large-scale commercial projects (AI factories, data centers, clean rooms). Hands-on role overseeing drywall, framing, finishes, modular walls, raised flooring, and sealed partitions from rough-in to final turnover. Data center or mission-critical experience strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct installation of interior partitions, metal stud framing, drywall, acoustic panels, and modular wall systems to exact tolerances.

Coordinate with MEP trades to route penetrations, seal conduits, and maintain plenum integrity for airflow and fire ratings.

Install and level access flooring systems, cable trays, containment walls, and server-ready finishes.

Interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and Revit/BIM models in the field; redline as-built conditions.

Supervise junior carpenters/finishers, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive daily production schedules.

Manage material take-offs, submittals, RFIs, punch lists, and closeout photos/deliverables.

Requirements:

8+ years of commercial interior construction experience; data center, lab, or AI facility build-outs highly preferred.

Expert in metal stud layout, drywall hanging/finishing, drop ceilings, raised floors, and sealed environments.

Proficient reading architectural and MEP coordination drawings; comfortable with Revit viewer in the field.

Proven leadership running interior crews and hitting milestones under GC schedules.

OSHA 10/30 certification; forklift/scissor lift experience strongly preferred.

Must have boots-on-the-ground results in fast-track, high-stakes interiors.
