Senior Legal Counsel (Technology Transactions)
Job Description
We are seeking a commercially minded lawyer to support a fast-growing digital infrastructure business. This role will focus on structuring, negotiating, and managing complex agreements with large-scale (“hyperscale”) customers, including major cloud, AI, and enterprise clients.
You will work closely with commercial, technical, and leadership teams to enable high-value, long-term customer partnerships while balancing legal risk and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the drafting, negotiation, and execution of complex customer agreements, with a strong emphasis on hyperscale and enterprise clients
- Advise on large-scale infrastructure, capacity, and service agreements (e.g., colocation, hosting, energy supply, and related services)
- Partner with commercial teams to structure innovative deal frameworks aligned with strategic growth initiatives
- Provide pragmatic, risk-based legal advice across the full customer lifecycle
Key Experience & Skills
- Qualified lawyer with 8+ years’ post-qualification experience, gained at a leading international law firm (“Big Law”) and/or in a top-tier in-house environment
- Strong track record of negotiating complex, high-value commercial contracts with large enterprise or hyperscale customers
- Experience in technology, infrastructure, energy, or data centre-related sectors
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Desirable Experience
- Experience with data centre, cloud, AI, or high-performance computing sectors
- Familiarity with energy or power-related agreements
- Exposure to international transactions and cross-border contracting
