Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct in-depth mental health assessments tailored to older adults, factoring in their cognitive and physical health conditions.
- Design and implement customized treatment plans that address both psychological factors and social influences affecting our patients.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, through individual and family therapy, specifically aimed at improving outcomes for our geriatric patients.
- Work closely with geriatric psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and integrated care, prioritizing each patient's holistic needs.
- Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring prompt care and management of symptoms in elderly patients.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options, while guiding them to access available community resources.
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential documentation, in compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
- Participate actively in team meetings, sharing insights and contributing to case consultations and ongoing learning opportunities.

Qualifications\n

- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.
- A valid and current licensing designation as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Psychologist within California.
- Strong foundation of knowledge in geriatric mental health issues along with familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing empathy and a patient-centered approach.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and typical computer applications used in modern mental health practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
