Join a next- data centre and HPC organisation, working with cutting-edge Linux infrastructure. This hands-on senior role suits an experienced Linux Engineer who wants to own complex systems, shape new technology, and occasionally step up as Deputy?Lead.

The Role

• Deliver Linux-based projects end-to-end: scope, proof-of-concept, implementation, and optimisation.

• Provide 3rd-line (expert-level) support across high-performance and virtualised environments.

• Research and integrate new technologies - including GPU compute, automation, and immersion cooling.

• Lead stand-ups and updates when deputising for leadership, ensuring clear stakeholder communication.

• Mentor and collaborate with a technically strong, close-knit team.

About You

• Solid Linux administration and engineering skills (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).

• Experience across HPC, clustering, or complex multi-node systems.

• Skills with Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, and scripting (Bash/Python).

• Confident communicator; able to present, lead discussions, and drive improvements.

• Ready to step into a leadership/deputy position while remaining hands-on technically.
