About the Role
Our client is seeking a technically proficient and action-oriented Senior Manager of IT to lead enterprise systems, end-user support, and IT operations. This role is particularly critical in managing and evolving the company’s Microsoft Azure ecosystem, which underpins access, security, and user provisioning across the organization.
This is a hybrid position based in the Memphis, TN area, with a blend of remote flexibility and periodic onsite presence at a major operational facility. Your leadership will directly impact both corporate and warehouse productivity through reliable systems, scalable onboarding, and thoughtful IT process design.
Responsibilities

Enterprise Management
Serve as the primary owner of Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including Azure Active Directory (AAD), SSO, and Active Directory services. Design and enforce governance, provisioning automation, and lifecycle management. -
End-User Support Leadership
Oversee the IT service desk and support function, ensuring timely and effective assistance across departments. Champion seamless onboarding experiences and consistent device readiness. -
Provisioning & Systems Oversight
Lead strategy and execution for user/device provisioning, ensuring secure and standardized setup across platforms. Implement best practices for endpoint management and access controls. -
Process & Tooling Optimization
Identify opportunities to enhance onboarding velocity, improve IT responsiveness, and reduce friction in support workflows—especially for high-volume operational environments. -
Cross-Team Collaboration
Partner with HR, warehouse operations, security, and engineering to ensure IT support is aligned with evolving organizational needs and systems integrations. -
Hybrid Operational Support
While primarily hybrid, this role requires periodic onsite presence to support physical infrastructure and collaborate with local operations teams.
Requirements

Azure Expertise: Strong, hands-on experience managing Azure AD, SSO, and enterprise frameworks at scale. Experience with policy design, provisioning, and troubleshooting in hybrid environments.

IT Operations Leadership: 7+ years in IT infrastructure or support roles, with at least 2 years in a senior management or team leadership capacity.

Service Desk Oversight: Proven ability to lead helpdesk teams and implement process improvements that drive speed, quality, and consistency in end-user support.

Enterprise Environments: Experience operating in high-throughput or logistics-based settings (e.g., supply chain, warehousing, manufacturing) is a plus.

Hybrid-Ready: Ability to balance remote leadership with occasional onsite support needs in Memphis, TN.
