We are seeking a lead for our Healthcare AI and Life Sciences go to market (GTM) team within AWS Applied AI Solutions (AAIS). As the Worldwide Lead for GTM, you will lead a team of Business Development, Sales Specialists, and Solution Architects and work closely with Product leadership to develop, accelerate, and sell current and new HCLS products using the full range of GTM levers – direct engagement, field enablement, marketing, partners, analyst engagement.

The Worldwide Lead will be responsible for building and developing the team of Specialists, driving revenue and user adoption, and ensuring new customers select AWS Healthcare AI and AWS Life Sciences solutions. You’ll be responsible for the overall sales motion and business goals, which includes working with the Product team to develop lovable products with great market fit, identifying customers and opportunities, qualifying & building pipeline, validating technical use cases, closing opportunities, and guiding successful customer implementation of the solution. By establishing and growing business and technical relationships with customers and internally, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these stakeholders, you will be responsible for driving top line revenue growth and overall end customer adoption and value.
Key job responsibilities
- Talent: Hire, develop and manage a team of Business Development Specialist, Sales Specialists, and Solution Architects
- Strategy: Develop and deliver a comprehensive GTM strategy that delivers revenue, market share, and other team/ product targets
- Execution: Drive well-developed and scalable sales engagements, growing and accelerating a robust sales pipeline, and delivering on reliable Forecasts; Lead customer engagements with senior customer business and technical decisionmakers; - Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
- Innovation: Work with the Product team to develop new products and services that delight HCLS customers – specifically, providing commercial expertise and developing GTM and route-to-market (RTM) strategy
- Scale: Constantly seek non-linear paths to scale the commercial success of HCLS solutions; own and improve key GTM mechanisms; Define and drive operational processes and excellence with sales teams
- Collaboration: Work effectively across multiple internal stakeholder groups to design and deliver the HCLS GTM strategy – notably Product, Sales, Solution Architecture, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, Legal, and Enablement
- Leadership: Represent the HCLS business internally to geo Sales and Business Executives and leadership, Service Team Leadership, and WW business teams
