Job Description
The Senior Manufacturing Master Scheduler is accountable for leading manufacturing planning function across MCG Electrical Equipment Center of Excellence (EECOE). This role ensures accurate capacity visibility, predictable production execution, and reliable customer delivery through disciplined planning processes, real-time data integrity, and strong cross-functional alignment. The Senior Manufacturing Master Scheduler will develop and leads a distributed team of plant-based Master Schedulers and Planning Specialist who maintain direct connection to shop-floor execution and continuously validate production status, constraints, and recovery plans. The role partners closely with Operations Leadership, Plant Managers, Supply Chain, Engineering, Facilities, Customer Success, Finance, and HR to align manufacturing demand and manufacturing capacity in support of profitable growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Establish and own a standardized manufacturing planning framework across all plants, including master manufacturing scheduling, manufacturing constraint management, and recovery planning.
- Lead and develop a team of Schedulers and Planners embedded at each plant, ensuring consistent planning discipline, data accuracy, and strong floor engagement.
- Ensure maintain direct daily engagement with production teams to validate progress, identify constraints, and rapidly update recovery plans.
- Partner with Operations Leadership and Plant Managers to align production priorities, labor strategies, and recovery plans.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to synchronize material availability, supplier constraints, inventory strategies, and expedite actions.
- Coordinate with Facilities to integrate plant layout changes, automation projects, and maintenance planning into production schedules.
- Partner with Business Operations and IT teams to develop, implement, and continuously improve planning systems, ERP/MRP capabilities, scheduling tools, reporting automation, and data governance as related to manufacturing planning.
- Standardize best practices across plants while allowing appropriate local flexibility.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Requirements
- Ability to lead and motivate teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in manufacturing planning, production control, operations or supply chain in engineered or industrial manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of: Finite capacity planning, Engineered-to-order manufacturing, SIOP / IBP processes, ERP/MRP systems and Labor modeling and utilization analytics.
- Satisfactory completion of additional background and drug screening
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- The work environment is a typical plant environment, with moderate noise level, and bright lighting.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and operating a computer. Physical exertion may vary depending on position type. May be required to regularly stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, frequently stand or walk around the work area, and lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to communicate effectively using phones or computer software.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities.
- Must be able to travel between EECOE locations as needed, some travel could require overnight stays.
