Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor Opportunity - Canary Wharf - Leading M&E Contractor\n\nWe are working with a leading M&E contractor to appoint a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their established commercial team in Canary Wharf. This is an opportunity to join a culture-driven business renowned for delivering high-profile projects across the commercial fit-out and data centre sectors.\n\nThe Role:\n\nAs a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial ownership of multi-million-pound M&E projects, managing them from initial conception through to final account agreement. You will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring commercial success, and supporting project delivery at the highest level.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Manage the full commercial lifecycle of M&E projects from inception to final account\n\n * Prepare, submit, and negotiate contractual documentation (e.g.

Notices of Delay, EoTs)\n\n * Administer and interpret contracts, with a strong focus on JCT forms\n\n * Work closely with project teams to monitor costs, risks, and programme impacts\n\n * Provide accurate reporting and forecasting across multiple live projects\n\n * Maintain excellent client relationships and uphold high standards of customer care\n\n * Support negotiation and resolution of commercial issues\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Proven experience managing multi-million-pound M&E projects\n\n * Strong understanding of mechanical & electrical installations\n\n * Solid knowledge of standard form contracts, particularly JCT\n\n * Experience preparing and submitting contractual notices (e.g. EoT, delays)\n\n * Good understanding of RIBA stages and associated requirements\n\n * Professional, client-facing approach with a focus on service delivery\n\n * Ability to remain calm and solve problems under pressure\n\n * Excellent attention to detail\n\n * Confident and effective communicator\n\n * Strong decision-making skills with awareness of upstream and downstream impacts\n\n * Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects to strict deadlines\n\n * Strong negotiation skills\n\n * Full UK Driving Licence\n\n * Right to work in the UK\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\n * Market-leading salary and comprehensive benefits package\n\n * Opportunity to work on prestigious projects in a growing sector\n\n * Supportive, collaborative, and culture-driven environment\n\n * Clear progression opportunities within a leading contractor\n\nIf you’re a commercially astute M&E Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a senior role within a top-tier contractor, we’d love to hear from you.\n\nApply today or contact us for a confidential discussion
