Senior Quantity Surveyor - London (Major M&E Projects)\n\nLocation: Central & Greater London\n Discipline: Commercial\n Contract Type: Permanent\n\nI'm currently working with a leading M&E contractor who are looking to bring on an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support multiple large-scale projects across London.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business with a strong pipeline of work, delivering high-value mechanical and electrical packages (circa £10m+) on commercial and data centre projects.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nTake full ownership of defined scopes of work, ensuring cost, quality, and commercial objectives are achieved.\nMeasure from plan drawings and isometrics to produce detailed bills of quantities, including labour hours and material costs.\nTrack costs, labour, and project progress against budget and earned value schedules.\nPrepare and manage cost plans, valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts.\nManage subcontractor packages from procurement through to final account agreement.\nEnsure compliance with contractual terms and payment conditions under the Construction Act.\nProduce accurate monthly commercial reports, CCS submissions, and cash flow forecasts.\nContribute to continuous improvement and professional development within the commercial team.What We're Looking For:\n\nProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS within the building services / M&E sector.\nStrong commercial and contractual understanding.\nAbility to manage multiple packages across complex projects.\nProficient in cost control, measurement, and reporting.\nKnowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental systems.\nA proactive approach to personal development and mentoring junior team members.What's on Offer:\n\nCompetitive salary with benefits package.\nCareer progression and ongoing professional development.\nExposure to landmark London projects with a respected M&E contractor.\nSupportive, inclusive, and forward-thinking company culture
