Senior Mechanical Design Engineer\n\nLondon\n\n£50-55/ hour\n\nOutside IR35\n\nRef: JBU9897-1\n\nDue to several recent project wins, we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a very well-established and successful international Building Services Consultancy on a long-term contract basis.\n\nTHE COMPANY\n\n * Well-established Multi-disciplinary Engineering Design Consultancy that specialises in major mission-critical projects throughout the world.\n\n * Impressive project portfolio working with leading blue-chip clients throughout the UK, Europe, Middle East.\n\n * Central London office with a hybrid working policy.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n * The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be playing a lead role in providing electrical services design at RIBA stages 2-4 on international data centre projects.\n\n * The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will assist with design development .\n\n * The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will work on a full turnkey design project so will be collaborating with many other disciplines on a day-to-day basis.\n\nSKILLS AND BACKGROUND\n\n * The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be degree qualified or equivalent in either mechanical engineering, HVAC or building services engineering.\n\n * Relevant experience as an Mechanical Design Engineer within a consultancy working on large-scale data centre projects is essential.\n\n * The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will have a stable contracting history and be able to provide references to back up their work history.\n\nIf you are a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with a building services or power background and data centre project experience and are looking for the opportunity to secure a long-term contract outside of IR35, working on major international projects for one of the leading Design Consultancy’s in the mission critical space then this is the opportunity for you
