Our client is a leading mechanical contractor in West Georgia. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Estimator / Bid Boss with strong experience in HVAC and plumbing to lead their estimating team. This is a leadership opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact. The role is not just about producing estimates.

The purpose of the role is to improve processes, build stronger estimating procedures, and help lead the estimating function as the company continues to grow.

This can be an in-office, hybrid, or primarily home-based role, with occasional visits to the West Georgia office to collaborate with the team.

The company works on significant commercial projects including healthcare, hospitals, universities, higher education facilities, clinics, and data center work. The estimating team supports a strong pipeline and is bidding on roughly $40M+ in work annually.

The Role

You will lead a small estimating team of two to three estimators, helping guide the bid strategy and ensuring estimates are accurate, competitive, and well organized.

This role owns the estimating effort from initial review through submission. It is a position for someone who understands both the technical side of estimating and the leadership side of running a team.

You will also help strengthen the estimating department by improving processes, building consistency, and supporting the growth of the organization.

Qualities We’re Seeking

• Deep experience estimating HVAC and plumbing projects

• Commercial mechanical estimating background

• Leadership ability and interest in guiding a small team

• Strong understanding of project costs and bid strategy

• Organized, steady, and respected by subcontractors and vendors

• Someone who enjoys the craft of estimating and takes pride in building strong bids

• Ability to help implement processes and procedures that strengthen the estimating department

The Offer

• Base salary: $120,000 – $130,000

• Total compensation potential: $130,000 – $180,000 with bonus

• ESOP participation
