Senior Mechnanical Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major fit-out project in Central London. This contract opportunity is suited to a proven mechanical engineering professional with a strong background in project management, commercial fit-out and data centre environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all mechanical aspects of the project lifecycle from inception through to completion
Take overall responsibility for project delivery, programme, quality, health and safety, and client satisfaction
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders
Manage project budgets, forecasting and commercial performance
Drive progress while ensuring mechanical works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards
Lead project meetings and provide clear updates on programme, commercial and operational performance
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations and project procedures

Job Requirements:

Significant experience as a Senior Mechanical Project Manager or in an equivalent mechanical project management role
Proven ability to manage and deliver large-scale projects from start to finish
Experience delivering commercial fit-out and/or data centre projects
Strong mechanical engineering and building services knowledge
Sound commercial awareness and understanding of project financial management
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver effectively under programme pressures
Relevant Mechanical Engineering or Building Services qualifications are

Contract Details:

Initial 12-month contract
