Senior Network Administrator

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe hands-on Senior Network Administrator maintains and supports the computing environment, monitors and protects the network, and resolves or coordinates IT equipment–related issues.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and support networks and servers
  • Maintain and oversee the Helpdesk.
  • Monitor system stability and performance; troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Administer Windows Servers and domain services (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO)
  • Administer critical cloud infrastructure such as Azure, Entra, AWS
  • Manage wired and wireless networks (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, WLCs, WAPs)
  • Support VoIP systems and data circuits (broadband, fiber, Internet)
  • Maintain virtual and hyper-converged infrastructure
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity, backup, and disaster recovery policies
  • Manage Office 365 policies and administration
  • Provide end-user support for workstations and peripherals, including desktop phones, thermal and laser printers, and laser scanners
  • Work with vendors and implement new technologies
  • Train and mentor team members
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Data center and technical management experience
  • Ability to coordinate with staff and stakeholders
  • Experience with Scale Computing, Fortinet, and VMware

Education & Experience

  • 5+ years of IT networking experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Certifications and continuous education recommended
