What You’ll Do
As a Senior Network Engineer, you’ll play a central role in maintaining and evolving the firm’s global data and voice network. You’ll design and deliver projects that support both trading operations and broader business initiatives across data centres, offices, and cloud environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and supporting the global network and voice infrastructure
- Designing, implementing, and optimising secure, scalable network solutions
- Partnering with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex network issues
- Leading infrastructure projects involving data centres, telephony, and cloud connectivity
- Performing proactive monitoring, maintenance, capacity planning, and performance tuning
- Driving automation and process improvement initiatives
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting enterprise-level data and voice networks
- Solid experience in financial or trading environments
- Cisco CCNP (or equivalent) certification required
- Strong hands-on expertise with:
- Cisco 9500/9300 series switches, 2900/4400 routers
- Juniper SRX Firewalls, Cisco Meraki appliances
- Core technologies: BGP, OSPF, HSRP, spanning tree, VPNs, dot1x, ACI fabric
- AWS Direct Connect and Transit Gateways
- Knowledge of Cisco ISE and network automation (Terraform desirable)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
