Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
Position Summary

Helping our client in Fort Worth seek a Senior Network Engineer. Extensive experience with Cisco Catalyst switches, Nexus, ASA and Firepower will be needed.

• Primary responsibility for network security operations, with a strong emphasis on Cisco ASA firewall administration
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco ASA firewalls, including:
  • Access control lists (ACLs)
  • NAT / PAT
  • IPSec VPN tunnels (site-to-site and remote access)
  • Certificates and firewall security policies
• Monitor and proactively address network security risks and vulnerabilities
• Support and maintain secure connectivity across multiple sites and environments
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on security-related changes and incidents
• Participate in security planning, audits, and compliance efforts (healthcare environment)

Routing & Switching (Limited Scope – ~10%)

• Provide limited support for Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches
• Perform basic configuration and troubleshooting, including:
  • VLANs and trunking
  • Port configuration
  • Connectivity troubleshooting
• Support network stability in both campus and data center environments
• Escalate or collaborate on complex routing/switching design work as needed
