Senior Infrastructure Engineer \n Hybrid, travel to the central London office \n Outside IR35 contract \n\n Our client are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with experience in Server Migration and a strong background in server administration, security best practices, and hybrid cloud environments to join them on a contract basis. \n\n This role combines hands-on technical delivery (integration, server migrations, data centre work) with coordination and documentation of complex migration activities across on-premises and cloud platforms. \n\n Server Administration & Migration \n Perform full lifecycle server administration : build, patch, configure, secure, and decommission systems.

\n Plan and execute server migrations for both physical and virtual workloads (Windows, Linux). \n Deploy and manage Azure Arc , Defender for Cloud , and related hybrid management agents. \n Conduct firmware and BIOS updates , disk replacements, racking, cabling, and rebuilds in data centres.

\n Hybrid Cloud & Virtualisation \n Manage hybrid workloads between on-premises data centres and Azure . \n Deploy and support Azure VMs, VNets, Private DNS zones , and Defender for Cloud Arc integrations . \n Troubleshoot connectivity between physical servers, virtualised environments, and cloud-based services.

\n\n Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server administration (20162022) and/or Linux. \n Practical experience in Active Directory , DNS , DHCP , Group Policy , and PowerShell scripting . \n Working understanding of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint , Defender for , and Azure Policy .

\n\n\n Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator / Azure Administrator Associate \n CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect (SC-100)\n ITIL v4 Foundation
