Project Planner Opportunity – Long-Term Contract
We are recruiting for our client who is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of high-performance batteries for zero-emission electric vehicles and energy storage systems ⚡

Join a major UK Gigafactory programme supporting next- EV battery production.
Role Overview:
This role is all about ensuring the successful and timely delivery of the project through strong planning, scheduling, and project controls. You will manage and develop the site schedule in Primavera P6, integrate contractor programmes, and provide data-driven insights to guide project leadership. The role requires being on site three days per week to work closely with the construction and project teams, ensuring alignment and smooth progress.
What you’ll be doing:
• Maintaining and updating the integrated programme in Primavera P6
• Integrating contractor schedules and monitoring interfaces & dependencies
• Analysing critical path, float, and key milestones
• Producing weekly/monthly progress reports & dashboards
• Collaborating with site teams to track progress, resolve issues, and mitigate risks
• Supporting coordination meetings and reporting to stakeholders
We’re looking for:
• 5+ years’ experience as a Project Planner on large construction/industrial projects
• Experience in high-tech environments (battery, pharma, data centre, semiconductor, manufacturing etc.)
• Strong P6 and Excel skills
• Confident communicator able to challenge programmes and influence delivery teams
