Senior Electrical Project Manager – Data Centre Project

Location: Surrey

The Senior Electrical Project Manager will lead the electrical delivery of a major hyperscale data centre project.

You will take ownership of a large electrical package managing the full lifecycle from pre-construction through commissioning and handover, leading a high-performing delivery team on a technically complex project.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge mission critical infrastructure with a contractor delivering some of the UK and Europe’s largest data centre developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical delivery team including PMs, engineers, supervisors and subcontractors
• Manage the electrical programme, procurement and installation
• Ensure delivery against programme, budget and quality targets
• Coordinate with main contractor, client and consultant teams
• Oversee design coordination and technical compliance
• Lead testing, commissioning and handover activities
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and project reporting
• This position is to manage 1 large project

Experience Required

• Experience delivering large electrical packages (£20m+) on major construction projects
• Previous role as Electrical Project Manager / Senior Electrical Project Manager
• Data centre, mission critical, pharmaceutical, or large industrial project experience
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management experience
• Solid understanding of electrical building services infrastructure
• Client facing professional manner
