World Wide Technology (WWT) is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise infrastructure projects, including data center, network, server, and cloud initiatives.

The ideal candidate will focus on planning, coordinating, and delivering infrastructure programs while ensuring governance, risk control, and compliance.

This is a contract Role

Infrastructure Project Manager

Contract Duration: 6 months!

Location: London, UK (Hybrid with 2 days on-site per week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects (data center, network, cloud, migrations, upgrades)
  • Plan, schedule, and track project activities, timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Coordinate across server, network, security, and cloud teams for seamless delivery
  • Define project scope, roadmap, and delivery approach including methodologies from scratch where required
  • Manage risk, issues, dependencies (RAID) and ensure mitigation plans are in place
  • Lead vendor and third-party management, ensuring deliverables meet expectations
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (ISO, SOC2, PCI, etc.)
  • Oversee infrastructure lifecycle activities such as migrations, refreshes, and deployments
  • Provide regular status reporting and stakeholder updates
  • Support transition to BAU (Business-as-Usual) operations after project delivery

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Infrastructure / IT Project Management
  • Strong experience delivering Data center migrations / builds / refresh, Network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, routing), Cloud & hybrid infrastructure (Azure, AWS, etc.)
  • Experience with ITIL, Change & Release Management
  • Strong stakeholder, governance, and communication skills
  • Experience managing multi-vendor and cross-functional teams

Candidates will be required to go through background checks before commencing contract.
