About the Opportunity

A leading Houston-based mechanical contractor is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a flagship $60M data center project. With a strong legacy in complex mechanical builds and a robust project pipeline, this is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a mission-critical project with direct succession potential into executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle delivery of a $60M data center project, from pre-construction through commissioning.
• Direct project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination.
• Oversee all MEP/HVAC scopes with a focus on mission-critical infrastructure and redundancy systems.
• Manage client relationships and ensure alignment with technical, financial, and timeline expectations.
• Lead on-site teams, field staff, and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and performance.
• Drive risk management, change orders, and project documentation.
• Mentor Junior PMs / Project Engineers – succession into leadership is encouraged.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years in mechanical construction project management (HVAC, MEP, or mission-critical projects).
• Proven experience delivering large-scale projects $30M+.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling tools (P6, MS Project) and cost controls.
• Ability to coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and field operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
• OSHA 30, PMP, or relevant certifications .
