A leading construction consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their Manchester office. This is an excellent opportunity for a chartered, client-facing Senior Project Manager from a consultancy background to deliver a varied portfolio of construction projects across the North West.\n\nThe successful Senior Project Manager will work across a broad range of sectors including Data Centres, Occupier, Local Gov, Healthcare and Sport & Leisure. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering complex projects while maintaining strong client relationships and high professional standards.\n\nResponsibilities of the Senior Project Manager\n\nAs Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects throughout the full project lifecycle.

The Senior Project Manager will act as the main point of contact for clients, providing leadership, technical expertise, and commercial oversight.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nLeading construction projects as Senior Project Manager from inception to completion\n\t\nActing as the primary client-facing contact\n\t\nManaging programme, risk, quality, and governance\n\t\nCoordinating multi-disciplinary consultant teams and contractors\n\t\nProducing client reports and project documentation\n\t\nMentoring and supporting junior Project Managers\n\nRequirements of the Senior Project Manager\n\nThis Senior Project Manager role is suited to a professional services–focused consultant who enjoys working closely with clients and delivering high-quality outcomes.\n\nEssential criteria:\n\nDemonstrable experience as a Senior Project Manager within a construction consultancy\n\t\nChartered status (MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM or equivalent)\n\t\nStrong client-facing and stakeholder management capability\n\t\nExperience delivering projects within commercial or public-sector environments\n\t\nExcellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills\n\nOn offer for the Senior Project Manager\n\n£60,000 – £65,000 basic salary\n\t\n25 days annual leave plus bank holidays\n\t\n5% employer pension contribution\n\t\nAdditional benefits and flexible working arrangements\n\t\nClear progression opportunities within a well-established consultancy\n\nThis Senior Project Manager opportunity in Manchester offers long-term career development, exposure to a diverse project portfolio, and the chance to join a respected and growing construction consultancy.\n\nWhat happens next? \n\nOn receipt of your application our dedicated Surveying and Project Management recruiter, Rees Allan, will contact you to discuss this opportunity in full detail.
