Position: Senior Quality Management Systems (QMS) Engineer HSIO OverPass Products
Location: Valley Green, PA

We are seeking a Quality Management Systems (QMS) Engineer to design, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System supporting HSIO OverPass products. This role is responsible for creating scalable quality systems that meet company needs and customer requirements, while enabling fast-paced manufacturing growth and supporting Amphenol's culture of speed, accountability, and execution. The QMS Engineer will partner cross-functionally to formalize systems, drive audit readiness, and ensure effective change control and document processes across global manufacturing locations.
This position is based in Valley Green, PA, with collaboration across domestic and international sites.
Key Responsibilities
QMS Ownership & System Effectiveness
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System supporting HSIO OverPass products across manufacturing and supporting functions.
- Ensure QMS processes are scalable, consistently applied, and aligned to customer expectations and operational requirements. Emphasis must be placed on supporting Amphenol's culture of speed, accountability, and execution.
- Drive system-level effectiveness through audits, metrics, risk analysis, and corrective action verification.
- Identify systemic gaps and implement structured improvements to elevate overall quality system maturity.
Compliance, Standards & Audit Readiness
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and customer-specific requirements (e.g., ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards).
- Lead internal audit planning, execution, reporting, and corrective action follow-up across sites and functions.
- Support external audits (customer, registrar, supplier) including preparation, coordination, and response management.
- Establish sustainable audit readiness practices and reinforce compliance culture across the organization.
Change Control, Documentation & Training
- Design and implement a formal document control process, establishing clear ownership, revision control, approval workflows, access controls, escalation and record retention standards.
- Create and standardize documentation frameworks for procedures, work instructions, forms, specifications, and quality records.
- Develop and deploy structured change control processes to ensure quality requirements remain aligned during engineering changes, supplier updates, process transfers, and manufacturing modifications.
- Ensure change management includes risk assessment, cross-functional review, and validation of effectiveness prior to release.
- Establish and strengthen training systems to ensure role-based competence, onboarding effectiveness, and compliance with updated processes.
- Identify opportunities to digitalize and streamline document control and change management systems.
Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and maintain QMS dashboards and KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen compliance while improving operational efficiency.
- Promote a proactive quality culture focused on prevention, accountability, and measurable results.
Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration
- Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure QMS processes effectively support execution and product integrity.
- Collaborate with global quality leaders to harmonize best practices and standardize quality system processes across regions.
- Support global manufacturing sites with implementation, coaching, and reinforcement of quality system standards.
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 510 years of experience in Quality Systems, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, or related quality roles.
- Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and audit practices (ISO 9001 required; additional standards a plus).
- Demonstrated experience building or significantly improving document control and change management systems.
- Experience leading internal audits, supporting external audits, and managing corrective action systems.
- Ability to apply and coach structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC, 5-Why).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive system adoption.
- Knowledge of semiconductor and interconnect industry manufacturing processes a plus.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a cross-functional, global environment.
- Ability to operate at an extreme pace to support rapid growth driven by global AI hardware infrastructure expansion.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities and drive initiatives from concept through execution with measurable results.
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally (Asia) on occasion (approximately 25%).
